Like OMG, I'm sooooo(maybe I'm exagerating but eh) nervous about Monday. For those of you that don't know, it's like Toki's and my first preformance for Colorguard(notice I said Colorguard and not Chior or Orchestra |D). I have no clue why either, I mean we've preformand for/at other places too with our 'school group'... maybe it's because were dancing? Idk, but still. I am afraid. I just KNOW I'm gunna screw up on "Soul Man". I hate being the shortest, and I'm barely shorter then you Toki!!! Darn hats. >.<

In other news, CHIOR IS GOING TO KNOTTS IN LESS THEN A WEEK! The same day as Toki's Birthday~~~ Then after that, like the 27th of May we get to go with Marching Band! |D AND AGAIN with the 8th graders!!!! That's like 3 times!!!! *squee!!!!*
Oh wow... so many times.. @_@

In other other news, ... I forgot. Oh! My brother threw a book at me cause he didn't get the ending. D8
But yeah, I tried to explain it to him(though I didn't read the whole thing, just the end AT THE TIME) and he was all, "But the Dybbuk possessed the officer." and I'm all, "Well yeah, then the Dybbuk went over to "The Great Freddie" and posssessed him again, obviously." Cause in the book in the end it says and I quote:

"Freddie gazed at him and he could see his future more clearly than any crystal ball could reveal. Until his last day on Earth, the German was going to be possessed by a Jweish dybbuk. Avrom Amos was going to drive him crazy.

Freddie sent a flick of a wave toward the witness stand. He felt sure the dybbuk was looking at him.

"Mazel tov, pal," Freddie said. "L'chaim!"
He didn't move his lips." End quote.

So a little of background from how far I have gotten in the book(I started reading it cause it seemed intresting. XP)

So basically "The Great Freddie" or something was a runaway in the second World War, and this Jewish kid helped him, Avrom Amos. Soo, after Avrom helped him get safely to where he, Freddie, needed to go. And Freddie promised he would go and look for Avrom as soon as he could, but later he finds out that Avrom was killed. But later after a 'gig' at some place he sees a kid that is rather odd looking. "Glowed faintly as is sprayed with moonlight." if you will. So then, Avrom is asking Freddie if he could possess him, cause after all, he did help him. Freddie Declines. And later the dybbuk possesses him when he, Freddie, is doing his ventriloquest act.

So... yeah, that's all I know so far, only have gotten to the 5th chapter. XD

So some background information on a Dybbuk.

So(hm I use 'so' alot) a Dybuuk is a Jewish spirt that can, and will if wants, possess the body of a human. The are left on the earth 'cause they have soem unfinished buisness and what not.

So(I should find another word...) yeah... it's quite intresting there. But now that I'm thinking about it, I think I know what the ending means..( I should finish the book first to understand correctly, but I think I understand it pretty well already..) is well.. first. "Mozel Toz" is what you say before you break a plate at a Jewish celebration a Bar/bat mitzfa(sp?). Avrom wasn't even 12(if I remember correctly) when he died, so he missed his Bar Mitzfa(sp?). And "L'chaim" ... I'm unsure of that that means but the say it's used... I think it means "good-bye" or something like that... I don't even know what language it is. |D Probably Jew or Hebrew... or something like that.. ANYWAYS.

Since Avrom possesses Freddie, Avrom is able to talk using Freddie's voice, yes, but Freddie's mouth won't move when Avrom talks with his voice... so my guess is that Avrom was watching Freddie, and since Freddie is a -sorta pro, his lips move still though-Ventriloquist he said that without moving his mouth, signifying that he is become a better ventriloquist/pro. OR that Avrom possessed Freddie once more, and said that to himself and with then leave, or will continue possessing Freddie and drive him mad.


Yeah...

Wow this must be like my longest journal ever... and I'm still not done! XD

But yeah, at the moment I recommend reading the book it's called, The Entertainer and the Dybbuk. by Sid Fleisghman. It's reading level 4-9 grade. XD It's pretty easy though... maybe I think that cause I read at a higher level then I should... for example when we were reading Night I foget who it's by, but yeah when we were reading that in class, I would, at the begginning, be together with my class then meracuously I'm like 20+ pages ahead of them!!!!! It's creepy... or maybe they just read to slow. Idk, either way, This is a god book so far.

Woooooooooooooow, it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot during the preformance. D8
But yeah I survived though((Happy now Zakku?!)) I did mess up.. *cough* darn bun!
Hehehe.. when my hair finally went into a bun almost everyone was all, "OMG That bun is HUGE!" and some even poked it. XD but yeah, it was fun. But soooooooooo hot. Friday is gunna be torture! AND I have Knotts on THURSDAY, Movies on Wednsday, 5th grade orientation on Wednsday too, practice tomorrow[tuesday], my week is like aiufhishfs. Ah well, I chose to join. It's gunna be fun!
